The Dumas was designed and built as a brothel in 1890 and remained active as a brothel until 1982, making it America's longest running house of prostitution.

It is the last remaining intact survivor of the Butte's historic redlight district.

In the 1970s, The Dumas was listed on the National Register of Historic Places where it was listed as an active brothel.

The Dumas Brothel is now a museum with tours of the historic brothel.

THE HISTORIC DUMAS BROTHEL IS IN IMMINENT DANGER!!!!!

We need to raise $5,000 by June or The Dumas Brothel will go the way of the dinosaurs and the buffalo.
